Wedding Photo Indulgence and giveaway WINNER!

My 2 year anniversary is this weekend and in the spirit, we are going away for a whole week! I have SO much to write- my new Titika items, my anniversary day + dinner, but it's going to have to wait for next weekend when we get back from cottaging! I know, I know. You will be wiping away tears until my return. Okay fine. It'll be me crying. I digress.

Thank you for indulging me- my wedding was my FAVOURITE day of my entire life- everyone I love together in one room- I wish I could repeat it every day. 

Speaking of Tyra Banks... I used to watch America's Next Top Model. I really liked it, until about 10 seasons in when I realized the only feedback that Tyra would give would be to "Smile with your eyes". She'd look at them and say "Like this". And she'd do a model face. Then she'd say, "Not like this". And nothing would change. Then she'd go back: "Like this. Smile. With your eyes."

Great feedback, Tyra.

Now, she's come out with an accessory known as a SMIZE (SMile with your eyZE). Equally stupid. Check it out.

Don't even get me started on the yellow tie.

Alright, my friends. Very deep, important questions to ponder over the next week when I'm away: 

1. Smize Accessory. Yay or Nay? 

Definite NAY for this chick. Sorry, Tyra. 

2. Tell me your favourite wedding memory- either your wedding or as a guest! 

I am a sucker for weddings. Which works in my favour, as I happen to go to a zillion. I love the vows, the speeches, the dancing, the food, and of course... the cake. 

-At my friend Jackie's wedding, we sang "Shots, shots shots shots shots shots shots shots shots shots shots" every time we did a shot. Um... we did a LOT.

 

-At my friend Katherine's wedding, a fellow bridesmaid (Amanda) and myself did a rap for our speech. That's right, a rap. Think Ice, Ice Baby, Baby Got Back, Fresh Prince of Bel Air all mixed into a wedding speech. 

 

-We got a standing ovation and the crowd wanted an encore. We'll be putting out our debut CD soon. 

At my wedding, I loved walking down the aisle with my Dad to meet Carter. It was the most special moment of my life. We also did a surprise dance which was thrilling for me as it takes Carter about a bottle of liquor to get him to dance normally. 

3. If you could purchase any shoe RIGHT NOW, what would it be? 

If I had a zillion dollars, I'd buy me some Christian Louboutins. A-freaking-men. I DO need a new pair of running shoes, though. And I'm dying over Roots' new riding boots. And... I could go on.
